The State of Connecticut has enacted new legislation which expands the time during which voters may cast a ballot. The opportunity for registered voters to cast their vote has been lengthened to include a set period of days prior to election day, also known as Early Voting.

Early Voting for the Primary is as follows:

August 5th, 7th, 9th, 10th, 11th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

August 6th and 8th from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm

The Primary will be held:

Tuesday, August 13th from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm

Voting will take place in the 2nd Floor meeting room, Town Hall, 562 Colebrook Road

The Registrars of Voters do not issue Absentee Ballots. If you have questions about the absentee ballot process, contact the Town Clerk Office at 860-379-3359 ext. 203 or dmckeon@colebrooktownhall.org.

Presidential Preference Primary will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm at Town Hall in the 2nd floor meeting room.

Early voting will be available from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on March 26, 27, 28, and 30 at Town Hall in the 2nd floor meeting room.

Notice is hereby given that a Presidential Preference Primary of the Republican and Democratic Parties will begin with early voting on March 26, 2024, through March 28, 2024, and March 30, 2024, with the primary being held on April 2, 2024, in each town.

The foregoing is a copy of the notice that I have received from the Office of the Secretary of the State in accordance with Secs. 9-433 and 9-471 of the General Statutes. As provided, such primary will begin with early voting on March 26, 2024, through March 28, 2024, and March 30, 2024, and the primary will be held on April 2, 2024.
