As reported last fall, Connecticut law requires municipalities to conduct a general real estate revaluation at least once every five years. The assessment established on the revaluation date is used to determine real estate taxes for the subsequent five years. The Town of Colebrook is scheduled to complete its next revaluation by October 1st, 2025.
Our revaluation is being conducted by eQuality Valuation Services, LLC. Beginning tomorrow (Tuesday, January 7th), representatives from eQuality will be taking a photo of every improved property in Town, as part of the revaluation process. Photos will be taken from the road whenever possible, but they will enter driveways, if necessary.
