News from Colebrook Town Hall: Road Maintenance Update

The schedule for crack sealing approximately 5 miles of roads in town has been accelerated-and will be taking place beginning tomorrow, through the end of the week. Department of Public Works Foreman Bill Jasmin reports that the work will be taking place on McClave, Prock Hill and Wolford Hill Roads, limiting traffic to one lane on those roads while work is in progress. Crack sealing is the process of placing an adhesive sealant into larger cracks on the pavement surface, preventing potholes and helping extend the life of the road. The next step will be to chip seal these roads next summer.
