This week, the Colebrook Fire Department and the Department of Public Works collaborated to put our recently retired Engine Number 2 to good use in helping clear out clogged culverts in town. Earlier today, more than 80 Colebrook Consolidated School students, staff and parents participated in National Walk to School Day. The route began at the Town Rec area on Cooper Lane and continued on Smith Hill Road to the school. Thanks to the Fire Department for bringing their emergency vehicles and closing the upper portion of Smith Hill Road for the duration of the walk.
